Directions

Sylvania Guest House is easy to get to from anywhere in the island. Below are directions for how to get here from the airport and the harbour - where most of our guests arrive from.

From the Airport

Leave the airport and proceed straight on at the roundabout you come to. Follow this road (called L'Avenue de la Reine Elizabeth II) passing the Jersey Aero Club on your left and later the St. Peter Garden Centre on your left. Turn right at the next roundabout you come to, down Beaumont Hill (signposted Route de Beaumont). Follow this road all the way down, passing the Beaumont cannon on your left, and later the Co-Op supermarket on your left again. You will now come to a Filter-In-Turn junction. This is not a roundabout and instead requires traffic to merge from two roads onto one road one after the other. Turn left at this junction, taking care of the pedestrian crossings. You are now on Route de la Haule. Follow this road, passing a car park on your right. We are about forty yards down this road on your right - look for the Sylvania Guest House sign - turn in and park in front of the Guest House.

From the Harbour

Leave the Elizabeth Terminal complex and go straight on at the roundabout you come to. Turn left at the next roundabout, taking care of the pedestrian crossings. You are now entering the Esplanade, and will be in the far left lane of three lanes of traffic. Stay in this lane, on this road and proceed, passing La Fregate upturned boat restaurant and various car parks on your left. The name of this road now changes to Victoria Avenue, and is a dual carriageway for part of its length, until the two lanes merge (Filter-In-Turn) into one road - this is La Route de la Haule. Passing the Hamburger cafe on your left and then a garage on your right, follow the road around to the left and we are about forty yards away on your left - look for the Sylvania Guest House sign and turn in, parking in front of the Guest House.
